Solar Energy Systems in Qatar
Solar Solutions for villas, commercial facilities and remote locations—supported from preliminary sizing and equipment selection through installation and commissioning.
CHOOSE BY OBJECTIVE
What should your solar system achieve?
Reduce Grid-Energy
Add Battery Backup
Power a Remote Site
Matched to verified load, site conditions and approval requirements.
Reduce Daytime Grid Use
Rooftop solar serves daytime electrical demand and reduces grid-energy use.
Add Battery Support
Hybrid systems support selected loads during outages or after sunset.
Serve Remote Locations
Off-grid systems provide power where dependable utility access is unavailable.
Solar Energy Systems in Qatar for Different Energy Objectives
Selecting solar energy systems depends on grid availability, daytime demand, battery requirements and the project objective.
Grid-Connected Solar
- Suitable for properties with reliable grid access
- Targets daytime grid-energy reduction
- Subject to KAHRAMAA approval and connection requirements.
Common applications: Villas, offices, shops, schools, warehouses and commercial rooftops.
Hybrid Solar + Battery
- Battery backup for prioritised electrical loads
- Solar use can continue beyond daylight hours
- Suitable for projects requiring solar generation with selected-load battery backup.
Common applications: Clinics, offices, server loads, retail & facilities requiring backup power.
Off-Grid Solar
- Designed around daily energy demand and the required autonomy period
- Battery storage sized for operating hours
- Backup generation can be integrated
Common applications: Farms, ezab, camps, remote buildings, telecom loads, pumps.
Grid-connected systems must meet KAHRAMAA requirements and applicable approvals.
From your energy requirement to a working solar system
Every solar project should begin with the load demand, operating hours, site conditions and required energy objective—not a guessed panel quantity. Zubicon reviews these factors, identifies the suitable system architecture and develops a practical technical and commercial proposal.
Our solar energy systems are planned for villas, commercial facilities, industrial sites and remote applications across Qatar. Whether the requirement is grid-connected, hybrid or off-grid, the solution is developed around the site and operating needs rather than a generic package.

Frequently asked questions
Practical answers for villa owners, businesses, facilities teams and remote-site operators considering solar power
Yes. Zubicon supports solar system enquiries from preliminary load review and system selection through equipment supply, installation coordination, commissioning and maintenance support. The final scope is defined after reviewing the site and technical requirement.
Zubicon supports grid-connected, hybrid and off-grid systems for villas, commercial facilities, warehouses, farms and remote-site requirements.
Grid-connected solar is normally considered when reliable utility supply is available and the main objective is to reduce daytime grid-energy consumption. Hybrid systems add battery storage for selected-load backup or extended solar use. Off-grid systems are designed for sites without utility supply and require careful sizing of PV capacity, batteries, inverter and reserve.
A villa can be evaluated for rooftop solar based on ownership, roof condition, available area, shading, electrical demand and the intended system type. For grid-connected systems, the applicable KAHRAMAA process and technical requirements must also be followed.
No. A grid-connected system can operate without battery storage when the objective is primarily daytime solar generation. Batteries are added when backup, after-sunset operation or off-grid autonomy is required. Battery capacity should be based on the selected loads and required operating duration
There is no responsible fixed price without knowing the load, system type, capacity, battery requirement, equipment standard, installation area and project conditions. Share your electrical loads or use the Zubicon Solar Calculator for a preliminary estimate, then request a site-based proposal.
Yes. Commercial properties with substantial daytime demand can be assessed for rooftop or site-based solar. The proposal should review demand profile, roof structure, available area, operating schedule, electrical arrangement and project objectives before recommending capacity
KAHRAMAA states that a solar system not connected to its network, such as an off-grid system for a farm or campsite, does not require an application through KAHRAMAA. The system should still be professionally designed and installed according to appropriate electrical and safety practices.
Send the project location, property type, monthly bill if available, connected loads or appliance list, operating hours, available roof or land area, grid availability, backup expectations and any required timeline. Photos, single-line diagrams, BOQs or previous quotations can also help the initial review.
